At SensioLabs you will work together with our customers' developers - both on-site and remotely in our office. In an agile environment we create high quality and well thought out solutions for the teams we work with. Your contact persons are exclusively technicians. The spectrum of your tasks ranges from the development of prototypes in PHP, code reviews, test-driven development, the design and implementation of delivery pipelines, to supporting the team with puppet or ansible setups. Depending on the project, you will use message queues, NoSQL storage, Elastic Search, Jenkins, Docker and other up-to-date tools and, if required, you will also introduce them to the customer's team.
- 100% technical focus. Together with the teams of our customers you build custom-fit, scalable solutions in an agile way and mostly use Symfony, Silex or customized PHP solutions.
- This means: Our customers usually commission us for large, complex web projects (e.g. portals, store systems), which we modernize or completely rebuild.
- Research and development are actively anchored in our day-to-day business, so you will definitely find a lot of variety here.
- Depending on your preferences and personal profile, we also have other tasks for you - if you feel like it, you can give presentations at conferences or user groups, for example.
- We support you continuously in your further development. As your experience increases, you will be able to take on more and more responsibility in our customer teams, lead architecture workshops or give training sessions.
What we want from you
- We have a very high quality standard - if you have already worked a lot with Symfony, that's great! But first and foremost you should be able to develop very well with PHP, be willing to learn and be able to think outside the box.
- You should have a very good knowledge of PHP and in-depth experience with PHPUnit, Doctrine, Composer and Twig.
- You have completed an apprenticeship or a study in an IT-related subject.
- A certification as SensioLabs Certified Symfony Developer would be great, but is not mandatory.
- You are our figurehead with our customers. Therefore, you should be able to work independently and customer-oriented, be precise and be able to communicate well in written and spoken language. You should speak German fluently and be able to express yourself well in English.
- We advise our customers on the latest web technologies - this requires you to have a thirst for knowledge in order to stay on the ball technologically.
- You should have a certain willingness to travel, because you will be a part of your time with the customers on site.
Our offer
- We are growing! Be part of it and help SensioLabs grow.
- You benefit from our experience and learn from a leading force in a future-oriented industry - without rigid structures and strict hierarchies.

- With us you have little deadline pressure or overtime - because optimal results take time.
- Clean Code, Domain Driven Design, Microservices and Continuous Delivery - everything you need! Afraid of bullshit? Challenge us with pleasure!

- Can not be? Do they all say yes? Come by and find out ;)
What can you expect in our application process?
After we have taken a look at your documents, we will organize a first telephone interview to get to know you better and tell you more about working at SensioLabs. As a developer, a short technical telephone interview will follow. Afterwards we invite you to a detailed personal interview with us. The last step is a day at our office, where you can also get to know the team.
