We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to strengthen the Core News Product App team. Core News Product is a suite of products and tools empowering creation and distribution of journalistic content. The main focus of our team is a next-generation mobile application built for the biggest newspapers in Norway and Sweden as well as 5 smaller brands which in total means 500 000+ active users daily.
The main goal of the app is presenting rich media content - lists of news, articles with videos, galleries and other. For reference check out these apps -

Skills & requirements:
- Kotlin knowledge as our project is written in this beautiful language in 100%
- knowledge of MVP, RxJava2, Dagger2
- good knowledge of SOLID principles
- testing experience
- involvement in product development - we are not looking for a “code monkey" but for someone with ability to question product decisions and come up with suggestions for improvement
- ability to work with incomplete specifications in a fast-moving environment - digging up answers and coming up with a custom solution is a big plus
- great English skills
- ability to travel to Norway and Sweden a few times a year
