PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Intelligent Enterprise Business Services - Maintain Deal Solutions is responsible for the implementation and operation of SAP’s own commercial order management and invoicing platform. In your role as a Quality Assurance Consultant for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) you will be working in an international and fast-paced agile environment. Your tasks include, but are not exhaustive to:
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Demonstrate high level of technical competency
- Contribute to the implementation of processes on Business Technology Platform (BTP) and reporting on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Improve IT Solution and Service quality with focus on stability, usability, maintainability and ultimately customer satisfaction.
- Modernize engineering practices with the help of continuous testing, continuous integration and continuous monitoring methods and tools.
- Act with integrity and fairness, living the SAP corporate values
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
We seek people with distinctive academic credentials, strategic thinking, superior problem-solving skills and a strong professional track record of results.
- Academic degree in Computer Science or Product Engineering
- Experience in QA processes within professional software development environment
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable team player with an ability to integrate into an international, virtual and highly diverse team, work independently as well as have a positive self-motivated can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years of professional working experience in adoption of QA engineering and test automation practices. Alternatively, a university graduate with less than 2 years of professional work experience can apply at entry level and then build up experience in DevOps engineering and automation practices.
- Proficiency in agile software development leveraging continuous testing & integration and the corresponding automation toolsets (e.g. Jira, GitHub, Jenkins integrated with API and unit testing tools)
- Basic knowledge in Scaled Agile Framework and DevOps
