As a Staff Software Engineer, your primary mission will be to establish the vision, technical design, write, test, deploy, and support new and existing Relativity software products, in a brand new, startup-style Relativity office in Krakow, Poland. We’re looking for someone who has an interest in developing next-generation technologies and a passion for getting things done. Is experienced and leverages to solve complex problems. The Enrichment Team


Relativity’s “Enrichment” product is the fastest way to feed terabytes of complex and abstract data into the Relativity’s Review platform. As part of the Enrichment team, you will work on modernizing the Enrichment user experience, deal with the unique challenge of processing a diverse set of documents, a tremendous amount of data and do complicated data extraction at blazing speeds. Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the R&D, and strategy of adoption of DevOps tools, services, and practices that improve overall developer productivity and increase delivery of customer value. 
  • Directly contribute to the production of important projects and initiatives in collaboration with other Engineering teams within the organization while being a role model for how software should be written. 
  • Promote standards through workshops, knowledge shares, and code walk-throughs. 
  • Advise senior technology managers (CTO/CEO, Engineering Managers & Directors) on technical considerations and design. 
  • Be the technical leader and mentor across multiple Scrum teams and participate in the engineering effort. 
  • Identify and ensure resolution of possible technical and client effects. 
  • Maintain a backlog of tools or technology enhancements to improve the maintainability and quality of the solutions. 
  • Encourage teams to work collaboratively by advising and enforcing best practices when needed. 
  • Stay up to date with technologies and best practices related to CI/CD tooling and developer productivity. 


Qualifications: 

  • Technical background, including 8+ years of experience with DevOps tooling/practices and has previously been a Staff, Principal or Distinguished Engineer. 
  • Knowledge in building service-oriented architectures, and cloud-based distributed systems. 
  • Very good understanding of Azure architecture. 
  • In-depth technical understanding and experience with at least two of the following DevOps Platforms: GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab and Jenkins. 
  • History of using C# or .Net Core. 
  • Very good knowledge of the C++ programming language. 
  • Fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based systems. 
  • Experience with Temporal Technologies will be a plus. 
  • Teamwork and skills for cross-group collaboration. 
  • Experience delivering complex technical solutions. 
  • Ability to relate with both technical and business professionals. 
  • Working knowledge of Agile Project Development Methodologies. 
  • Proficient in conducting and communicating evaluation and selection process. 
  • Experience implementing redundancy and disaster recovery scenarios.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

300 000 and 450 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
