Profitroom - Empowering hotels directly
Currently we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Connectivity Team, to create long-term and profitable relationships with our partners, ensuring seamless and successful integrations. As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate projects with both our partners and internal development team, implementing reliable processes and thorough documentation to guarantee success.
Daily activities:
- Discovery of technical connectivity projects between internal products and external services.
- Connectivity projects include, but are not limited to: PMS solutions (Property Management Systems), OTA portals (Online Travel Agencies) and payment gateways.
- Working with a connectivity development team.
- Testing of new integrations and integration updates.
- Monitoring and certification of new integrations & features.
- Accountable for projects going live on time, being the main point of contact for the lifetime of the project.
- Creating and updating internal documentation.
- Coordination of upgrades and bug fixes, raising needed development requests to the dev team.
Requirements:
- Experience in project management.
- Familiarity with hotel operations, gained either through direct experience in a hotel or from working with a software company in the hotel industry.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of API integrations.
- Proficiency with JSON/REST, XML/SOAP APIs, and tools like Postman.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
- Proactive attitude with a guest-centric mentality.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or a related industry.
- English proficiency at the C1 level is required.
