WORK MODEL: Remote or Krakow

REMUNERATION: 120 – 160 PLN + VAT

CONTRACT: B2B, 6mc + extention

PROJECT:

As Android Developer you will work on weather app and being the only Android developer in a team. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where you play an important role in forming the service for our user. You'll work independently and with cooperation with other team members - you collaborate closely with the CEO, Tech Lead & Backend Developer, Web Developer, iOS Developer, Product Owner, UX/UI Designer, Marketing & Content Manager and Meteorologist in the team.

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Have full responsibility for the Android app and with that comes the freedom to choose technology.
Take new features from experiment through prototype to final implementation, giving your assessment on what will work or not from a technical standpoint
Maintain and refactor the existing code base to fix bugs and make improvements
Stay on top with the news in the Android development community and drive modernisation of the technology stack to make sure that we use the right architecture and tools.
Have a direct impact on the product. Developers’ suggestions are greatly appreciated and incorporated into the business decisions/model
Assert the quality of the app by writing both unit and automated tests and organising exploratory test sessions with the whole team.
Plan and prioritise work together with the Product Owner and the Tech Lead
Discuss and crack tough technical problems together with the other devs
Experiment, test, try, fail and learn all the time

SKILLS:

Min. of 3 years of experience in Android development
Experience in Android release process and Google Play Store
Experience with Kotlin
Experience with Firebase
Experience with version control systems – preferred GIT
Knowledge and experience with testing libraries like JUnit, MockK, Mockito, Espresso
Knowledge about CI/CD processes
Attention to UI details and is eager to provide the best user experience
Ability to write well designed, reusable and efficient code
