We are currently looking for person who will join the DevOps team which is under construction. On this position you will be working in our technology center in Krakow in a team which participates in proprietary software development process.
Since 2012 we have managed to develop our business based on patented steel framing system supported by proprietary software and IT infrastructure. During that time, we were developing our teams mainly by recruiting software architects, developers and testers. Currently our goal is to establish professional DevOps team of engineers, who will help us to achieve challenging company goals.
Our general expectations from the DevOps Engineer:
- Researching and implementing changes in the tool stack;
- Supporting software development processes by automating workflows and integrating various tools;
- Recommending, implementing and configuring changes in the tool stack as the subject matter expert;
- Design, implement and manage application infrastructure dedicated to host proprietary software systems;
- Configuring CD/CI pipelines and dynamic application environments.
Skills in working with the following tools are preferred (the more, the better)
- CD/CI tools;
- Configuration management and infrastructure automation tools;
- Virtualization and Containerization solutions;
- Operating systems – Windows Server and Linux;
- Monitoring and log management;
- Relational database;
- Webservers and load balancers.
Other requirements:
- A Bachelor in Computer Science or similar;
- 2+ years of total professional experience in one of following: DevOps, SysOps, IT, Software Development or Enterprise Operations;
- Experience in implementing CD/CI pipeline across multiple types of software applications and infrastructure;
- Experience in integrating proprietary software with 3rd parties’ apps;
- Understanding of infrastructure and system architecture preferred.
