We are looking for passionate and ambitious IT professionals to join our Brand Digital Presence Engineering team whereby you will grow as a Platform Engineer. In that role you will:

• Perform cloud platform management via Configuration Management to ensure security and full stack automation for applications, driving the use of the platform and standards for all applications.
• Deliver of API code for consumer facing applications, contributing to the development of GraphQL APIs.
• Be responsible for code generation/pair programming, code review, and participating in strategic architecture alignment.
• Lead continuous improvement and engineering maturity across cloud solutions. Continuously innovates, running Proof of Concepts, and assessing Cloud partners 3rd party ecosystem solutions for the applicability for P&G.
• Maintain relationships and influences product teams to ensure best solution.
• Directly contribute to the Cloud Community of Practice collaboration hubs to foster participation, upskilling, and reusability of code and standards across the company.

Job Qualifications

• Experience building cloud solutions using one of the popular cloud platforms (preferably Azure or GCP).
• Experience delivering backend software solutions.
• Experience utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation to deploy Infrastructure-as-Code
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with integration technologies (ex. Apigee, Solace, Kafka, Apollo GraphQL, etc.)
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, DevOps tools, CI/CD, privacy and software security concepts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build high quality relationships with P&G IT and shared service organizations, business partners, clients, users, company leaders and external partners.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to learn and develop technical expertise through self-learning, external courses and industry certifications.
• English proficiency and at least a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Software Engineering, other STEM field.

WHAT WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS (NICE TO HAVE, BUT NON-MANDATORY):

• Understanding of modern website tech stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React and Rest based web services).
• Understanding of modern mobile application stacks (e.g. Swift, Java, Kotlin)
• Experience with Firebase, Flutter and/or BitRise CI/CD platform for mobile app development
• Previous experience with large and complex corporate environment.
• Azure Cloud certification (e.g. AZ-305, AZ-300, AZ-104, AZ-204) or GCP.
