As a Senior Scrum Master, you will evangelize the scrum process and agile practices and values within CTPO, providing coaching and mentoring services across all the teams in the department.

Enable the team to go above and beyond

In your role as a Senior Scrum Master, you will work closely with Product Owners and Development Teams on the further development of our product by encouraging and supporting the teams to self-manage their iterations.

  • You will ensure that the teams are compliant with the scrum framework by providing training to team members and other parts of the organization as well as facilitating scrum ceremonies within the sprints.

You will coach the team to have the increment prepared according to DoD and reviewed with stakeholders at the end of every sprint.
  • You will help the team to work efficiently by identifying blockers and supporting impediments removal. You will also work together with other Scrum Masters to identify and minimize the impact of cross-teams dependencies.
  • You will help Product Owners to find an efficient way to manage the product backlog.
  • You will, along with the other Scum Masters, work with the release manager and other stakeholders, to ensure that deliverables on-track for our upcoming release.
  • You will collaborate with the Software Engineering Managers on topics like team health and motivation.

You have:

  • You probably already have a higher IT education such as graduate or master.
  • You have at least 4 years’ experience as a Scrum Master working in distributed teams, preferably within product development.
  • You have an excellent understanding and hands-on experience of various agile software development frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, as well as XP practices.
  • Understanding of scaled agile frameworks (SAFe or Nexus), as well as development background, will be an additional advantage.

As a person:

  • You like to work both in teams and independently, but at heart, you are a team player that is used to work with challenges every day and think out-of-the-box.
  • You are an independent, responsible, and flexible person with excellent interpersonal skills, and, just like the rest of us, you are ambitious and passionate about the development of product, processes, and technology, and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and help get the job done.
