Job description

Why work at Nobl9?

Now more than ever our lives depend on digital services and Nobl9 is on a mission to make them reliable and efficient. Our category-defining Service Level Objective (SLO) platform is gaining traction with many organizations that care about service excellence. If you like working on hard problems that can have a massive impact and want to join a fast-growing startup that is helping organizations improve the reliability of their software this is the place for you.

Currently, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Product Owner who’ll swell the ranks of our Engineering Team in Poland (Poznan). We have over 40 people on board there, including the other 3 Product Owners and 2 Scrum Masters, so if you’re a team player, we’ve got you covered.

In this role you will:

  • Gather and analyze requirements for our reliability platform
  • Translate requirements into actionable user stories
  • Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and our Scrum teams to maximize the value we deliver to our customers
  • Support our Scrum teams throughout the entire development cycle and help them understand the purpose of our actions
  • Develop and maintain product backlog to ensure project transparency for all the stakeholders and team members
  • Cooperate with our Technical Writer to keep the Nobl9 platform's documentation up to date.

Here are the qualities we’d like you to possess:

  • At least 4 years of proven working experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager
  • Experience in writing product specifications
  • Great understanding of the software development process and an Agile mindset
  • Analytical thinking
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Fluent English and Polish
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong first-hand knowledge of Scrum and Agile practices
  • Nice to have: PSPO/CSPO certificate.

What we think you’ll like:

  • Becoming a part of the team working on a product that makes a difference: an innovative Service Level Objectives (#SLOs) platform released publicly in January 2021
  • Thoughtful onboarding process during which you’ll get familiar with our internal processes, the way we work on our product, and the domain knowledge (#SRE, #SLO)
  • Guidance and mentoring from our Product Owners who’ll be more than happy to help you feel at (Agile) home - all of them work from our Poznan office
  • Great Scrum teams consisting of experienced software and QA engineers with Agile mindsets
  • Working in a friendly non-corporate atmosphere that prioritizes flexibility and autonomy over stiff procedures and fixed hierarchy
  • Opportunity to hone your skills daily as Site Reliability Engineering (#SRE) is still gaining traction and there is so much more to learn about it
  • Stock options
  • Hybrid working model
  • Competitive Referrals Policy (with a referral bonus of 8 000 PLN)
  • Private health insurance
  • Sports card
  • Cozy and comfortable working space in the center of Poznań (Nowy Rynek).
