Online interview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our global team at mTab. You will be responsible for supporting engineering teams, providing expertise in cloud infrastructure, pipeline automation, and support of project environments (cloud and local). You will also be responsible for promoting and implementing best practices in observability (monitoring, tracing, alerting, logging) and high-availability engineering.

You'll be successful at mTab if you are excited to build something from the ground up, transforming the way we deliver software. The responsibilities of the team include:

Infrastructure strategy and implementation
Compute workload management strategy and implementation
Infrastructure high availability design and implementation
Infrastructure security strategy and implementation
Release and deployment automation strategy and implementation
Enable developer productivity from an infrastructure and services perspective
Build and maintain internal, developer-focused tools and solutions
System observability strategy and implementation

The successful candidate will ideally have:

2+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer
2+ years of hands-on experience in AWS provisioning and administration
Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes
Excellent knowledge of Terraform
2+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and GitHub Actions preferred)
Solid understanding of cloud computing and immutable infrastructure paradigms
Proficiency with Linux/Unix administration
Experience writing Linux scripts, Bash or ZSH
Solid understanding of distributed and HA systems
Practical knowledge of HTTP protocol (debugging, monitoring)
Independence in problem-solving
Proactive approach, can-do attitude
English language skills to read and create technical documentation and communicate freely with other teams in an international environment
