Network Engineer


We are Mobica, a global software services company headquartered in Manchester, UK, with offices across Europe and the USA. Job Description


Scope of work includes (but is not limited to):


  • Managing the daily activities of company's WAN, LAN and WLAN infrastructure
  • Responsible for installation, administration, and testing of network equipment and software
  • Co-operation with ISP to maintain MPLS and SD-WAN cloud and stable Internet connectivity (BGP peering)
  • Close cooperation with IT Support Team on investigating and debugging network-related issues
  • Monitoring the ticket queue to provide support with network-related requests
  • Preparing documentation, drawing network diagrams

Qualifications:


  • Network knowledge and experience at CCNP level
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with NGFW (Fortigate)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with NAC
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with VPNs solutions: SSL VPN, Site-2-Site VPN
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with routing solutions: BGP, route-maps, prefix-lists, routing redistribution
  • Knowledge and experience with Enterprise WLAN solutions (Wireless Controllers, LAPs)
  • Knowledge about High Availability solutions (stacking, clusters, link aggregation, VRRP)
  • Knowledge about network security solutions (IPS, Web-filtering, Access-Lists, DHCP snooping, ARP inspection)
  • Knowledge about Windows Server services: DHCP, NPS, DNS
  • Experience with network monitoring solutions (Zabbix)
  • Experience in working with the following vendors would be a plus: Cisco, Extreme, Fortinet
  • Good spoken and written English
