Your role & responsibilities:

Administration and installation of Linux servers (SuSE Linux Enterprise, CENTOS, Salt)
Designing, installing and testing of automation using Ansible/AWX and scripting using Bash, Python, Perl
Operation of virtual servers (VMWare, KVM)
Operation of central services (LDAP, Mail, Samba)
Monitoring and performance analysis (Nagios, BMC Remedy, Wotan)
Maintenance and toubleshooting
Support in technical Projects and creation and maintenance of documentation
Good knowledge of AIX OS IBM Power Hardware, PowerVM, NIM,TSM, backup & recovery and VIOS configuration and maintenance
Integrate the automation procedures to existing operational procedures or create new for ease of deployment and maintenance activities

Your skills & strengths:

Min. 3-year experience in Linux and Systems administration and automation
Computer Science Degree with network technology
Good knowledge of popular Linux distributions
Ability to automate using Ansible/AWX and Python and to conduct the configuration, installation and deployment set up of many systems within Cloud Services including the monitoring system
Experience with Linux in Cloud and Container platforms will be a plus
Analytical thinking, structured and result-oriented working, open to new challenges
In-depth technical strengths and business understanding for full-cycle project and post-implementation problem-solving requirements
Very good English skills, German will be a plus
