Magnitude’s mission is to become a leading provider of Operational Excellence software for the metal additive manufacturing industry (aka metal 3D printing). To date, the lack of efficiency in Additive production is a key issue that is responsible for Billions of euros worth of wasted resources. Our goal is to deliver a unique, fully digitalized Operational Excellence tool with predictive performance functionality, able to anticipate manufacturing failures and drive informed decision-making.
We are a dynamic, well-funded startup looking for a senior full-stack developer with a focus on front-end and with React experience to join our team. This individual will drive the development of our core product in an agile environment. You must be located in the EU (with a valid work permit) to be able to periodically meet with the team. However, the day-to-day work will be carried out remotely.
Tasks
- Developing and validating software front-end and occasionally the back-end using the defined tech stack
- Writing clean, well-structured, and maintainable code
- Developing customer-tailored features from concept development to MVP/final implementation
- Translating business requirements into functional specifications to ensure a good product-market fit
- Bringing in your entrepreneurial mindset and ideas to drive innovation for our software solutions
Required qualifications
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and/or +4 years work experience
- Strong experience with React.js, NPM, SCSS, Git
- Experience with Test-Driven Development
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter attitude, taking ownership, and driving forward topics to completion
- Proficiency in English
Preferred qualifications
- +5 years of web development experience, +3 using React.js
- Experience with Django, Django REST framework, AWS, MySQL
- Experience with D3.js or similar plotting libraries
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and practices
- Experience with Machine Learning/Data Science
