Senior React Developer

2-3 per week you need to be available until 9:00pm due to meetings with the US team

We are looking for Senior React Developer for our client which is an online marketplace connecting people who want to rent out their homes with people looking for accommodations in specific locales. Together with them, we are building a world-class payments platform that moves billions of dollars, in 191 countries, with 75 currencies, through a complex ecosystem of payments partners. They are also reinventing how to serve users to improve performance, scalability and extensibility.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with various engineering teams, taking ownership of the frontend experiences

• Participate in all phases of software development including architecture/design, implementation and testing.

• Support teammates in enabling code quality, operational excellence, and shared learning

• Maintain our rigorous engineering standards and instil consistency across the various codebases and processes you encounter.

• Collaborate with cross-functional working groups (mobile/backend/ML engineers, design, product and operation teams) to design and build frontend experiences.

And if you possess...

• 7+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role in frontend web development

• Strong expertise in the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript.

• Experience with modern web technologies such as React, GraphQL.

• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations

• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities

• Excellent engineering and coding skills.

• Strong communication skills and experience working closely with other engineering teams across complex interfaces
