For one of our Client in Warsaw, we are actively looking for DevOps Engineer.

Job Purpose:
To take ownership of the delivery and ongoing maintenance of the delivery pipeline used in order to deliver business change in a consistent and timely manner. The role will take lead in delivering the tools and systems and promote best practice within the Data and Analytics (DNA) department, as well as maintain our current toolset and processes. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring continuous service improvement and support the various projects through development and into live.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for carry out the deployments across various technologies and applications, creating and administering the builds / deployments where required.
- Create and manage automated builds / deployments across various technologies.
- Maintain an automation first principle for deployment assets
- Manage upgrades and patching across various technologies that the team own
- Ensure all processes are documented and remain up to date
- Assist in the creation and development of processes for builds and deployments working with project / development teams where required.
- Provide assistance and guidance for development teams on processes and best practices as well as research new technologies and function as a subject matter expert
- Act as a point of technical referral or provide 3rd Line Technical Support, where appropriate
Technology stack / Must have:
- Cloud based build technologies
- Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Nexus and Maven
- Docker, Kubernetes
Requirements:
- CI / CD experience; both maintaining and setting up new pipelines
- Sysadmin experience, ideally in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7 estate
- Operate as a lead for operational maintenance e.g. patching and failovers
- Working with project/development team to develop new build and deployment solutions
- Able to work with structured frameworks, methodologies and best practices
- An ability to learn from, and adapt to, a changing technical environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team (co-located or dispersed)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge in automated test tools
- Experience in various firewall technologies
- TCP/IP Network troubleshooting and support, including DNS & HTTP protocols
- Experience in Data/ Analytics workloads
- Experience of working in the Financial or Insurance sectors
- Experience of working in Agile (SCRUM)
