About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a skilled SAP Sales and Distribution Consultant to take ownership of system support and development initiatives within the Order-to-Cash domain. You’ll play a key role in improving core business processes, supporting ongoing operations, and contributing to system evolution through mini-projects and continuous improvement efforts.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT colleagues to ensure a reliable and efficient SAP SD landscape.


Your Daily Tasks

  • Provide expert-level 2nd and 3rd line support for SAP SD-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution

  • Diagnose system malfunctions or gaps, identify root causes, and deliver sustainable fixes or enhancements

  • Implement configuration changes related to sales processes, pricing, delivery handling, and billing cycles

  • Participate in smaller-scale projects involving SAP SD, ensuring that business needs are reflected in technical solutions

  • Collaborate with other SAP module consultants (e.g., MM, FI) to manage system integrations and end-to-end process coverage

  • Review and analyze support ticket trends to recommend process optimizations or preventive measures

  • Ensure comprehensive, up-to-date documentation for configurations, known issues, and custom functionalities

  • Provide ad hoc guidance or training for end users and key stakeholders to support knowledge transfer and system adoption


What You Bring

  • Degree in Business, IT, Logistics, or a related area

  • Hands-on experience with SAP SD module, particularly in Order-to-Cash processes such as order handling, invoicing, pricing strategies, credit checks, and returns

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus

  • Knowledge of customer master data setup, delivery processing, and billing integration

  • Understanding of cross-functional flows with SAP MM or SAP FI

  • Ability to assess business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle complex tickets or incidents

  • Experience working in IT support environments, including the use of ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)

  • Clear and effective communicator with both business users and IT peers

  • Proactive approach to learning, solution ownership, and documentation

  • Fluency in English; German skills are an asset

  • SAP SD certification and understanding of ITIL methodology are considered advantageous
