What product do we develop? 
 
Our Business Components team build and maintain the foundation for all R&D teams and the rest of the organization. We develop and maintain the framework for handling policies and personal information as well as the tax-related functionality that cuts across all our customers.
 
By joining us you will have a chance to work with some of the most skilled and solution-focused developers in the business and work as a full-stack developer in the modern sense of the word.
We are working on a daily basis with development, testing, product ownership, and communication with our other internal groups as well as the projects that work directly with the customers.
 
We are part of Edlund A/S – KMD’S subordinary, a market leader in Denmark that counts some of Denmark’s largest pension companies among its clients.  Edlund adds a market-leading team within software development to KMD for the management of life and pension portfolios in Denmark. 
 
How do we work? 
 
We use Kanban in our team, and Scrum in the rest of the organisation. 
 
After your morning coffee you will be: 
 
  • Implement new functionality in the form of new products or frameworks supporting them.
  • Help users of our components with troubleshooting and solving errors.
  • Sparring with Product Owner, Customer projects, Product Management and others.
  • Take part in the process from requirement, analysis, development, test, and documentation to support.

Personally:
 
  • You are fluent in C# and English, both of which are the de facto standard in Edlund.
  • You are able to join team meetings at the office in Warsaw, typically a couple of times per month.
  • The rest of the time you can work from wherever you want.
 
Professionally:
 
  • You are a team player and understand that the team's goals always come first
  • You are a proud professional that delivers as high quality as possible
  • You are always open to discussing if a solution could be implemented differently to balance time and quality
  • You know that the customers have to be in focus and that we, therefore, have a duty to consider all requests for new or changed functionality in our solutions.
  • You are accommodating, informal and most of all, you are committed to following through on your and your team's goals.
 
We will be a PERFECT match if you, additionally (aka "Nice to have"): 
  • Experience with Azure development environment in the cloud.
  • Design Patterns, Inversion of Control in particular is well known to you.
  • Experience with complex solutions and larger software landscapes.
  • Background in some sort of financial sector would be a bonus.
