As a full-stack .NET Developer, you will help us to deliver one of the biggest KMD products called WorkZone. WorkZone is an EIM (Enterprise Information Management) system. On a very general level, you could describe it as a platform/framework for digitalization and automation of document handling processes in a variety of industries. As a platform, WorkZone provides generic functionalities and capabilities, ensuring legal compliance for storing and processing documents. At the same time, WorkZone has strong modeling capabilities enabling different market segments to reflect their domain and implement different types of workflows. WorkZone is a fully-featured product, being released on regular basis (quarterly cadence currently). For more information on the product, you can reach  https://workzone.kmd.net/.

Overall WorkZone is being developed by 50+ people, working in multiple teams (11+) spread across Poland Denmark and Ukraine. By default, we have our PO’s in DK so some travel will be required. We are also following agile principles when delivering the product.

Currently, we are looking for an experienced full-stack developer with hands-on experience in React who will join our feature teams. By design, feature teams are responsible for the e2e development of our platform delivering both the back-end and front-end parts of the solutions. As we are in a process of platform containerization and rebalancing the test efforts (from e2e automation toward more unit/integration tests-based approach) we also need to focus on proper monitoring, logging, automation capabilities to provide visibility and ensure reliable and easy-to-access information on our product.

On the technology side, our product is based on the .NET framework (with some components in .NET Core) including Workflow Foundation as the heart of our custom-made process engine. Our API layer is based on the OData endpoint and front-end side you will find multiple frameworks including AngularJS, Angular, React, and jQuery. A big part of our system also relies on Office add-ins (VSTO for maintenance and React-based - Fluent UI in active development). The efforts and time spent in each area depending on priorities defined by PO. Oh, and by the way you are also going to develop different types of tests as we do not have a dedicated tester position.

Currently, we are looking for a person who would like to take care of features development but is also capable of driving the e2e delivery agenda in our team.

 
After your morning coffee you will be: 

  • Implementing real, living product, important from a company strategy viewpoint (how cool is that…)
  • Developing and delivering features across all product modules and components (including front-end, back-end, DB, API, Docker containers, Office 365 integration, VSTO maintenance)
  • Delivering features, coding tests, fixing bugs, making POC’s – all that is usually needed when driving product
  • Cooperating across borders with teams and stakeholders
  • Inspiring and being inspired over coffees and teas 

We want you in our team if you: 

  • Have strong coding skills in React
  • Have strong experience with JavaScript and CSS
  • Have some commercial experience in .NET
  • Have the initiative to introduce improvements and new ideas/technologies that support technology and product agenda
  • Have experience in deploying, maintaining, and upgrading software on production
  • Are a fast learner eager to share the knowledge and inspire people around you
  • Have experience in working inside SCRUM teams or similar agile setups
  • Are a real team player both local and cross border
  • Have high communication skills (we mean it…)
  • Are a true diplomat
