If you are an inspiring leader that thrives in a software development environment having colleagues in both Poland and Denmark, you might want to consider the job as Development Manager with Edlund.
 
Depending on your experience, you will be responsible for 1-2 teams with 5-10 employees in each team. Your team(s) will be part of delivering the biggest Life & Pension solution in the Nordics
 
Edlund A/S provides flexible and time-saving IT solutions for the life and pension industry, we are behind the leading industry solution for policy administration. We have more than 25 years of experience and are market leaders in the Danish market. Edlund A/S has a revenue of approximately 250 MDKK and 225-250 employees
 
 
After morning coffee, you will be:
 
leading the product development in the agile team by:​
  • being responsible for the agile team deliveries and for assisting the team in meeting them.​
  • providing clear elevating goals and expectations for the Agile Team
  • managing value-creation flow with a system perspective
  • being people manager for Product Owner, developers, architects,s and testers in the agile team​
  • providing functional area leadership​
  • driving innovation by empowering the agile team to be ambitious and creative in problem-solving ​
  • driving collaboration and motivation in the agile team by promoting agile values, removing organizational impediments, and creating an environment based on openness, trust, and mutual expectations. ​
  • in collaboration with PO and team, ensure team alignment related to team goals and technical design and architecture in line with the Chief Architect. ​
  • nurturing the team into high-performance teams​
  • complying with budgets (team budget, salaries, traveling, celebration, etc.) ​
  • ensuring transparency to stakeholders and management in team activities, issues, and status​
  • showing Servant Leadership​
  • maintaining compliance with external regulations and internal policies and processes
 
 
We want you in our team if you:
 
  • have a minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience and 5+ years of software development experience
  • communicate complex problems in a simple and effective way in order to influence others
  • can set and execute a clear vision
  • understand the balance between agile development and project delivery of planned content on time, in the expected quality and within budget
  • have experience working in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • hold master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar
  • have excellent people management skills
  • coaching, developing, and managing teams comes naturally to you
  • speaks and understands English
  • have good communication skills
  • have good interpersonal skills, find it easy to cooperate
  • have the ability to delegate tasks
  • is emphatic and have good listening skills
