What you will be doing:​

As a BI Software Engineer, you will be working on an SQL data warehouse solution, which is the powerhouse of both client-oriented and internal reporting in e.g. PowerBI. You will also become a member of a cross-functional development team working in an agile environment, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to establish business needs. 

 Responsibilities:

• implementing software features based on functional and non-functional requirements, 
• delivering clean, easily maintainable code and performing review of code written by your colleagues, 
• cooperating with highly qualified business specialists, developers, and solution architects,  
• working on continuous improvement of software development process, including code and architecture standards, 
• pursuing technical excellence, learning from experts, and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. 

You are a GOOD match if you:​

• Possess advanced SQL skills (including building stored procedures)
• Are familiar with ETL (especially SSIS)
• Are familiar with working in MSSQL Server 
• Are experienced with working with data marts or data warehouses. 
• Possess BI skills – including gathering and analyzing business requirements and critical thinking, followed by solution design. 
• Have experience working with reporting 
• Are fluent in English (B2)

We will be a PERFECT match if you, additionally: 

• Have knowledge about ITSM solutions – especially ServiceNow and ServiceNow Cloud
• Come from and ITIL-related background (or any case management experience)
• Have experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI reports, Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Have fundamental understanding of working with the Azure Stack (e.g. Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks)
