Senior QA Automation Engineer

ABOUT THE PROJECT

In this project, you will have a chance to work on a unique IoT solution that provides an opportunity to ensure both human well-being and buildings' well-being. Thanks to the installed indoor sensors and strong AWS architecture, we can measure indoor temperature, air humidity, water hardness, and much more, to make it meet the highest standards. To make this solution environmentally friendly we are implementing a saving mode that allows building owners to turn off the instruments at a convenient time to save energy. This product is not only tech-savvy but also has a great sociological impact since solutions are installed in places like hospitals, kindergarteners, nursing homes, business centers and other socially significant places. YOUR ROLE

• Cooperate with development team and client representatives;
• Understand the product technologies and implementation;
• Analyze business requirements and specifications, create test scenarios based on them;
• Develop, maintain, and execute an end-to-end (e2e) test strategy that includes automated testing.
• Create detailed test documentation, including test cases, scenarios, and traceability matrices.
• Maintain CI/CD jobs and pipelines;
• Follow clean code principles to write concise code, proficient with SOLID and design patterns;
• Actively support and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the QA Automation team;
• Setup and coordinate code review process within QA Automation team;
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (dailies, planning etc).

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience with live production systems;
• Knowledge of SDLC and QA process, be able to shape the QA process according to needs of the project;
• Knowledge of QA role in Scrum process;
• Proficient with functional and regression testing;
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, Java;
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Fiddler, Charles) and proficiency in Linux configuration, bash scripting, and Docker;
• Proficient in testing of GraphQL and REST APIs;
• Experienced in GUI test automation (preferably in Playwright);
• Knowledge of AWS; 
• B2+ level of English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with performance and load testing, especially in cloud-native applications and embedded devices;
• Experience in Linux configuration and bash scripting.
