Salary: 800-1180 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk  (at least 2 day per week from the office)

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our client's international QA team, working on a complex, business-critical system. The role involves active participation in quality assurance processes, with a strong focus on automation, early defect detection, and ensuring overall product stability. You will be responsible for planning and executing regression testing, building new and maintaining existing automated test scenarios, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing practices.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Continuous automation of newly created test cases
• Maintaining automation code repository in line with best practices and coding standards
• Executing daily automated test runs and reviewing results
• Keeping automated test case lists up to date (in repositories and test management tools)
• Providing ongoing code fixes and updates
• Planning and executing regression tests for each release
• Early detection and communication of defects and issues within the team
• Reporting, handling, and verifying defects
• Recommending actions based on test execution results
• Identifying new scenarios to automate or enhancing existing ones
• Collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in test automation (UI and API)
• Strong Java programming skills 
• Experience in web application testing using Selenium 
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API testing 
• Familiarity with tools like Maven, Rest-Assured, Postman, Chrome DevTools
• Experience working with GIT repositories (Bitbucket) integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Comfortable working in an international, distributed team
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, HP ALM)
• Basic SQL skills
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification 
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude
• Very good English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Experience with mobile testing, data manipulation (XML, CSV, JSON
