Senior Java Developer

Salary: 1000 - 1300 PLN net/MD 

Remote: hybrid from Warsaw, Gdynia, Gdańsk (expected in the office 1-2 days/week)

Expected competencies and knowledge

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a comparable software development in Java and Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated delivery
• Experience in package and deploy applications using Docker
• Experience in cloud solutions
• Familiarity with modern software development practices, adaptability to evolving requirements, and a strong customer-centric mindset
• Excellent verbal and written English skills, along with strong communication abilities

Daily tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs in accordance with best practices and industry standards
• Contribute to the microservices architecture, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainability of services
• Support continuous improvement of the delivery process to ensure high quality and fast delivery of software
• Work in agile teams, participating in planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Follow and promote modern software development practices, including clean code principles, automated testing, and documentation
