Project

---

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and integrity of a data migration project. The role involves designing and executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and validating data accuracy using advanced SQL. A strong understanding of database design, testing theory (e.g., ISTQB), and object-oriented programming in C# (intermediate or basic with a willingness to learn) is essential. The candidate should be open to both manual and automated testing, have experience with CI/CD pipelines, and ideally, familiarity with Scrum or Agile environments.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Writing Test Scenarios
• Executing Test Scenarios
• Identifying and tracking defects
• Understanding of database design
• Writing advance SQLs to check record counts, data truncation, invalid datatypes, NULLs, and data integrity
• Knowledge of basic Database objects and relational data model
• Ensuring Quality coverage of relevant test phases across data migration project

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Solid understanding of testing theory (e.g. ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge)
• Proficiency in SQL (extensive experience working with databases)
• Intermediate-level knowledge of object-oriented programming using C# (or at least basic knowledge with a strong willingness to learn)
• Openness to performing both manual and automated testing
• Strong analytical skills to comprehend and work with the complex logic of user stories
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (creating, modifying, and utilizing them effectively)
• Experience working within a Scrum framework or similar Agile methodologies
