HPNS Expert IT Developer

Salary: 1100-1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk/Łódź/Warsaw (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

You will be involved in a financial project focused on the Cards domain, delivering enhancements and regulatory updates for systems supporting consumer card services, ATM flows, and scheme compliance (Visa/Mastercard). The work will support one of the largest financial institutions with a stable HP NonStop (HPNS) platform.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design, develop, and implement improvements in the Cards and ATM processing systemsw
• Collaborate within a SAFe Agile team and Agile Release Train (ART)
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues on HPNS infrastructure
• Maintain and enhance existing solutions using COBOL, TACL, PATHWAY, ENSCRIBE, SQL/MP
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met
• Contribute to ISO8583 message processing flows and adapt to changing scheme requirements
• Support testing, documentation, and deployment processes

 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience as a HPNS Developer
• Expertise in COBOL, TACL, PATHWAY, FUP, ENSCRIBE, PERUSE, BATCHCOM, SQL/MP
• Proven experience with ISO8583 message structures
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years of experience in the banking and financial domain, ideally in consumer card services
• Knowledge of compliance requirements from Visa/Mastercard (or willingness to learn quickly)
