JIT Team is looking for a Head of Platform. We are happy to present an extraordinary chance to work in a team, that builds the first in Saudi Arabia fully digital bank.
Our customer is in the process of applying for a digital-only banking license from the Saudi Central Bank. The current phase is focused on the submission of a high-confidence application and detailed technical design and executable blueprints (“ready to build”). These blueprints will also be used as a part of the application pack that will be submitted to the Central Bank. As part of this journey, we have officially hired a regulatory consulting firm and a system integrator.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
- Setting up and managing VPC, Kubernetes cluster, API gateway, etc. in an end-to-end manner.
- Maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Requirements:
- To establish, deliver, and refine a platform engineering roadmap to ensure that all platforms and products remain current, deliver value to product engineering teams, and support the needs of internal stakeholders in terms of scalability, resilience, security, capacity, and operational maintenance.
- Define a technology roadmap that includes deliverables focused on the continued improvement of the supported solutions, and empowering a DevOps culture through the use of automated platform capabilities underpinning customer-focused product engineering and development.
- Create tools and automated workflow capabilities to enable our software engineers to test and promote code across the different environments and into production with maximum velocity.
- 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering data and analytics platforms
- Deep, multi-year technical expertise in Cloud-based architectures in the area of Analytics, Big Data, BI or IOT
- Experience with GCP, and with tools like Docker & Kubernetes
- Strong skills designing software architectures (e.g. domain-driven design) and in modern programming languages, such as Python, SQL, NodeJS, C#
- Extensive experience in engineering and operating platforms within a DevOps/DataOps organization - delivering toolchains and automation
- Substantial experience in agile delivery methodologies, such as SCRUM or Kanban, and related software tools such as Azure DevOps
- Fluent in English with high confidence in both verbal and written communication
