Senior Test Automation Engineer

Itera is looking for a talented Senior Test Automation Engineer with solid technical background and strong testing skills to lead a test automation part of the development team. The qualified candidate will need to be a fast learner, to be able to grasp the technical and business aspects of the project. 

Customer is an international banking group with operations mainly in Western Europe, Latin America, and the United States. Our team is working with the Nordic division of the bank, working with complex IT solutions, covering all banking business processes, from front-end (web or mobile applications) to back-end systems. 

Senior Test automation engineer will be a part of the test automation team, which works on a few products in a dynamic distributed team. Engineer will be responsible for establishing the test automation framework, creating auto tests, establishing close communication with Customer team on requirements clarification etc. 

Daily communication with Product Owner as well as with manual test team/developers/business users and business trips will be an essential part of the working process.

In this role you will: 

• Take part in extension and improvement of test automation framework 
• Work with all relevant stakeholders to promote and ensure software quality 
• Get clear understanding of factors that influence different testing cycles 
• Develop and maintain automated tests 
• Run tests and verify execution outcomes 
• Highlight risks and provide mitigation 
• Assure reliability of the automated tests results 

Requirements: 

• At least 4 years’ experience within software test automation (.NET) 
• Experience in API Test Automation 
• Experience with Azure DevOps (for testing, creating pipelines, etc.) 
• Understanding of test automation methodologies 
• Solid knowledge of OOP principles and common patterns 
• Experience of work in distributed environment, dynamic team 
• Experience of direct communication with client 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in building test automation from scratch 
• ISTQB certification 
• Certification in test automation
