Create and manage QA life cycle in the Capital Market area!
Wroclaw-based opportunity with a possibility to work 100% remotely now and partially remote after pandemics.
As a Senior QA Analyst, you will be assigned to our Client – a renowned Investment Bank. You will join a small diverse team focused on disruptive technology changes to Capital Markets and technology driving efficiencies. You will work on the existing Debt Capital Market Book Building solution and evolution of this platform to market connectivity in the United States and Europe.
Your key Responsibilities:
- Manage QA life cycle, which primarily includes the creation of Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Scripts & Defects life-cycle management
- Review functional requirements and technical designs to create test plans and detailed test cases
- Create and execute manual and automated tests based on software release enhancements
- Work closely with product managers and other teams to develop a deep understanding of a product’s requirements
- Development of automated test creation and execution using test automation tools
- Understand system components, how they interact with one another, and perform different types of testing: functional, system, regression, and acceptance
- Assist business; pre and post-launch and act as the first line of triage for any bugs found
The ideal candidate has:
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (preferably in IB environment & technology)
- Experience in QA processes and methodology; understanding requirements, test planning, test designing, and test execution
- Excellent experience in functional, regression, smoke, and Integration testing
- Software development background (C#, Java, Python)
- 5+ years of experience in UFT, SQL, and any scripting language such as Python, Perl, javascript, shell scripts
- Experience working with Jira/Confluence or similar tools
- Experience working with ALM tool
- Ability to manage both manual and automation testing
- Strong communication and coordination skills required to plan & deliver test solutions by interacting with global QA, BA, PM, Dev
It is a strong plus if you have knowledge of:
- Investment banking and Capital Markets specifically Debt Capital Markets
- Knowledge of Financial industry and Credit Markets, Fixed Income
