As a Senior Platform Automation Engineer – Cloud and Controls, you will be working for an international leader in banking technology. Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis of control requirements and design scalable automation solutions to meet complex compliance needs.
• Drive the engineering of APIs, workflows, and integrations to automate platform controls at scale.
• Conceptualize, develop, and implement solutions that streamline controls automation processes.
• Guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient platform control services.
• Foster continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to pioneer innovations and improve control automation across the platform.
• Organize and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across geographies to achieve project milestones.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform automation, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills across multiple languages (polyglot expertise).
• Hands-on experience with API development, data schemas, and web technologies.
• Knowledge of internal developer platforms, cloud services, and infrastructure.
• Proven leadership in managing global or offshore engineering teams.
• Familiarity with database schemas, Linux, and web technologies.
• Experience with iterative delivery methodologies and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English communication skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Prior experience deploying software within financial institutions.
• Certifications in cloud platforms, automation, or project management.

• Fluent English, with excellent communication and reporting skills.
