What’s the role about?

• Design and implement scalable Azure and hybrid cloud environments

• Lead Infrastructure as Code development using Terraform and Bicep

• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git-based workflows)

• Design automation solutions using PowerShell and scripting frameworks

• Integrate cloud platforms with virtualization and VDI environments (e.g., Citrix, VMware)

• Drive platform modernization and migration initiatives

• Implement security hardening and governance standards across environments

• Support and lead complex transformation projects (cloud migration, platform upgrades, automation frameworks)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, Security, Storage, AI, Infrastructure)

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to mid-level engineers

• Participate in solution design discussions with clients and internal stakeholders

Who are we looking for?

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, identity)

• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem integration

• Good understanding of cloud governance and security principles

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Advanced Terraform knowledge (modular design, multi-environment deployments)

• Bicep or ARM template experience

• Strong PowerShell scripting skills

• Experience with automation of operational processes

DevOps & CI/CD

• Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines)

• Git-based workflows

• Infrastructure and application pipeline integration

Virtualization & Platform Engineering

• Strong experience with Citrix (CVAD, DaaS, XenApp/XenDesktop)

• VMware ESXi or hypervisor administration

• Experience with VDI architecture and optimization

Security & Governance

• Security hardening practices

• RBAC and identity management

• Platform stability and risk reduction practices

Leadership & Impact Expectations

• Acts as technical authority within the DevOps team

• Leads by example in engineering standards and automation maturity

• Drives high-quality architecture and scalable solutions

• Contributes to business growth through technical excellence and client trust

• Supports capability expansion and mentoring of junior engineers

Nice to have – while not mandatory, these additional skills will make you stand out:

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305)

• Citrix certifications (CCA-V / CCP-V)

• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments

• Experience working in multi-client, international environments
