As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator – Performance & Scalability, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the database management and enterprise IT solutions industry. You will contribute to delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable Oracle database environments across the international region. Your expertise will help optimize performance, develop best practices, and ensure system availability, supporting the company's continuous growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform advanced database and application (SQL) performance tuning to maximize efficiency
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Oracle database instances aligned with business needs
• Conduct root cause analysis of production-related database issues to ensure minimal downtime
• Manage daily maintenance, monitor database health, resolve problems, and support internal customers and development teams
• Collaborate with application development teams to review, design, and develop data models
• Test, validate, and implement performance and resource optimization solutions

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of Oracle DBA experience on Unix/Linux environments, including 2+ years of hands-on database administration
• Experience with database development projects and strong fluency in Oracle technologies and tools
• Solid understanding of performance tuning, data modeling, and troubleshooting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish, with a proven track record of effective collaboration across teams

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with high-volume OLTP systems and terabyte-sized databases
• Knowledge of Data Guard replication solutions
• Oracle DBA best practices such as schema management, index optimization, and hints

Language Required for the role:

• Polish (fluent), English (fluent)
