As a Senior Cybersecurity Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) Endpoint Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization committed to safeguarding data and maintaining the highest standards of security in a complex, regulated environment. Your expertise will contribute to designing and implementing advanced DLP solutions, protecting sensitive information, and supporting the organization’s digital transformation journey with innovative security practices.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the management and configuration of DLP policies and endpoint exceptions across on-premise and cloud environments to prevent data leakage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain DLP tools, ensuring compliance with global data security standards.
- Support and advise on Data in Motion and Data in Use security strategies, contributing to safeguarding critical information assets.
- Document processes and configurations accurately using tools like Confluence and Jira, ensuring clarity and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in test planning, scripting, and execution for security-related system changes, facilitating continuous improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate complex security requirements into effective technical solutions and controls.
- Stay informed about the evolving threat landscape, providing insights to enhance security posture.
- Actively participate in audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in Data Leakage Prevention and Data Security.
- Hands-on experience with at least two DLP products such as Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, or Trellix.
- Strong knowledge of Data in Motion and Data in Use security controls.
- Experience administering DLP agents and managing policies in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in system administration, including cloud-based and hosted solutions.
- Excellent documentation and task management skills, familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to communicate technical issues confidently to diverse audiences in English, at a fluent level.
- Demonstrable understanding of cybersecurity principles within the financial industry and regulatory landscape.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications in cybersecurity or data protection (e.g., CISSP, CISA).
- Experience with test automation and scripting.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and security testing procedures.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
