As a PKI & Certificate Management Engineer – Venafi / Infrastructure, you will be working for our client, an industry leader in cybersecurity solutions, dedicated to safeguarding digital assets through innovative PKI and certificate management strategies. Your main responsibilities:
- Draft detailed technical documents including design, implementation, and test specifications to ensure comprehensive project tracking
- Participate actively in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of PKI and certificate management solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and automate processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Python, and more
- Support and improve deployment workflows, including release management and system monitoring using industry-standard tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Splunk
- Document engineering tasks, product features, and system configurations adhering to best practices and internal standards
- Contribute to incident management and change management processes using ITIL-compliant tools such as ServiceNow
- Assist in managing databases, particularly Microsoft SQL, and work with various industry-standard infrastructures like VMware, Windows, Linux, and network security components
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on PKI, certificates, or related fields
- Proven experience in drafting technical documents and executing software testing phases
- Solid understanding of PKI concepts, certificate authorities, and registration authorities
- Familiarity with automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python
- Experience working with industry tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
- Knowledge of software release and deployment platforms including GitHub and Jenkins
- Solid understanding of SDLC practices and industry best standards
- Working knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL) and IT infrastructure components (VMware, Windows, Linux, Firewalls, Networks)
- Experience in Identity Access Management (RBAC, Privileged Access Management)
- Familiarity with Service Management tools and processes such as ITIL, Incident & Change Management workflows
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Venafi TPP knowledge & experience, especially in SSH keys discovery
- Previous experience working in large organizations, especially within the Financial Sector
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
