Main purpose of the position:

As a PKI Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our PKI and CLM (Certificate Lifecycle Management) systems. Your expertise will ensure secure, efficient, and user-friendly authentication processes, safeguarding our digital assets and improving user experiences. The engineer will work with the PKI/CLM suite of products and processes to define and standardize a global PKI service, perform cross-project analyses, and coordinate activities with vendors, technicians, and stakeholders.

 

What you’ll do:

  • PKI (Public Key Infrastructure): Design, implement, and maintain PKI services in ISS either public (e.g. DigiCert) or private (Microsoft PKI) got various use cases

  • CLM (Certificate Lifecycle Management): Design, implement, and maintain CLM solution to automate managed digital certificates

  • System Integration: Support and assist in integration of CLM with  various applications and services, ensuring automation of digital certificate lifecycle.

  • Project Management: Lead and participate in CLM/PKI-related projects and integrations, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business goals.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to understand requirements and deliver effective CLM solutions.

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert support for PKI/CLM-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to maintain system integrity and performance.

  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure CLM solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Actively monitor certificates usage, deployment and automation, eliminate legacy or obsolete

Who you’ll work with:

  • Security Engineering - partners on PKI standards, crypto policies, certificate governance, and security controls across the enterprise.

  • Infrastructure Operations - collaborates on load balancers, servers, network devices, and platform integrations that depend on certificates.

  • Application Teams - supports developers and service owners with certificate issuance, renewal, deployment, and troubleshooting.

  • Cloud and DevOps Teams - works closely on automated certificate workflows, CI/CD integration, and cloud‑native service identity.

  • External Certificate Authorities - coordinates validation, issuance, and compliance with commercial and internal CA providers.

 

Key qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PKI and CLM with a strong background in managing digital certificates

  • Proficiency in PKI technologies (public PKI, private PKI),  certificates types (e.g., SSL, Signature, Encryption…) and platforms (e.g., DigiCert, Let’s Encrypt, Microsoft PKI,…)

  • Hands-on experience on provisioning workflows, triggers, rules and customizing the tool as per the requirements.
