Warsaw based opportunity with remote work. Visit at the office in Warsaw once for two weeks


As a Junior Infrastructure Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leading company in online banking. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Data Center operations, including the installation of new IT equipment, cabling servers and switches, diagnosing and repairing x86 servers, and assisting during visits from external service engineers. Additionally, you will manage the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system, inventory and document equipment and connections, and support IT equipment disposal.


Your main responsibilities: Install new IT equipment (servers, arrays, switches)

  • Cable servers and switches
  • Diagnose and repair x86 servers
  • Assist during visits from external service engineers
  • Operate the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system
  • Inventory and document equipment and connections in DCIM
  • Manage inventory levels in Data Center buildings
  • Support IT equipment disposal (documenting devices, degaussing data carriers)


You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • High knowledge of PC building, with experience in servers preferred
  • Recognition and application of cables/connectors, with experience in UTP, OM4, MPO, QSFP+, SFP+ preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Windows or Linux installation, with experience in server platforms preferred
  • Ability to operate DCIM systems (training provided)
  • Ability to use Jira/Confluence (training provided)
  • Experience and skills in teamwork
  • Ability to perform various IT installations (training provided)
  • Experience in repairing IT devices and equipment preferred
  • Experience in the Data Center industry preferred
  • Proficient English for service request communication


Additional requirements: 

  • Experience with large systems (5+ rack cabinets in server rooms or 50+ workstations in helpdesk)
  • Valid category B driving license
  • Ability to commute within 1 hour (living within 50km of Warsaw)
  • Availability for paid overtime, including nights/weekends if needed
