About the role:
As a Support Engineer, you will be a part of the Support Team, which works closely with the Engineering Team. You will be interfacing with the other side of the business to diagnose issues. As a team, we work on daily alerts and provide constant support.
What you will take on:
- Working with daily reports with alerts;
- Defining and diagnosing software and server issues;
- Resolving bugs;
- Monitoring and maintaining the application;
- Escalating issues that are out of scope;
- Cooperating with the Engineering Team to provide solutions to the users;
- Staying in touch with users via e-mail, dedicated Slack channels, and JIRA.
What you already have:
- Experience in JavaScript, Relational or Non-Relational Databases;
- 1-2 years of programming experience;
- Understanding of Rest API;
- Willingness to learn;
- Ability to communicate with ease and clarity.
Nice to have:
- Experience in clouds (AWS);
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other IT-related studies;
- Contribution to an open-source project.
Please mind, that job requires working hours adjusted to US Eastern Time.
This means the start time would be 15:30, providing support until 23:30.
