    Together with our partner ST Engineering iDirect, we want to invite a DevOps Engineer for a cooperation in a long-term project.


    ST Engineering iDirect is a global leader in satellite communications (satcom), empowering clients to enhance their business, differentiate their services, and optimize satcom networks.


    About the role:

    The Scrum team you will join is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the infrastructure and orchestration layer on which we deploy and run our applications. You will contribute to the definition, design, implementation, debugging, validation, and release of these components. You will support other application development teams with the deployment and use of the orchestration layer.


    What you will take on:

    • Expanding on our long-term work: building automated environments (virtualization);
    • Delivering applications that provide value to colleagues;
    • Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes);
    • Configuring OpenShift to support workloads;
    • Understanding the deployment of Telco environments and the impact of configurations;
    • Utilizing Ansible and Terraform;
    • Performance considerations;
    • Managing different versions of OpenShift for optimal performance;
    • Ensuring minimal impact on the application stack;
    • Providing teams with space to focus.


    What you already have:

    • 2 years of experience in OpenShift, preferably in an engineering role;
    • Experience in Kubernetes and KubeVirt;
    • Automation in Jenkins and Ansible;
    • Git & Subversion, and Virtio
    • Test Automation Framework in Python and Pytest;
    • Bash scripting;
    • General Linux knowledge.
