Job description

Most of the QAs at Infermedica work as part of our Agile teams, to ensure the quality of our products - both those we provide for our customers and internal tools for managing medical knowledge. We are looking for a results-driven Manual Software Tester to assess software quality through manual testing (automated testing is not a part of this position; though there would be a possibility to use and run the pre-prepared automated tests, accountability for creating the new ones rests with the Automated QA team).

The middle-level position is closely connected with our Metabase team which develops the medical knowledge application with multiple relations and dependencies to cover.

Requirements and skills

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in software development and software quality assurance
  • Expertise in testing web applications
  • Experience in testing multiple applications
  • Ability to create regression test cases
  • Ability to define the required scope of testing and adequate test cases
  • Analytical thinking and good perception skills
  • Ability to see patterns and find dependencies between functionalities in complex applications
  • Ability to define the required scope of testing and adequate test cases
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Communicative English and Polish – written and spoken

Experience with the following will also be helpful:

  • Experience in mobile testing
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, and Postman tools
  • Ability to manage the workload of the group of QAs
  • Good understanding of HTTP, RESTful, and API testing

Please answer in the language the question is asked in.

Interview steps:

  1. A short call with selected candidates. It would take about 1 hour.
