My client is revered as being one of the top trading firms in their market globally. They are looking to recruit for a contract or permanent Cloud Security Engineer in Switzerland to join their already established and highly capable Cyber Security team.
The business is transitioning to a hybrid cloud model with the integration of existing on-premise tooling and processes. The Cloud Security Engineer will support their adoption of Cloud IaaS, and assist in implementing technical resources based on their Cloud Security Standards from the design and implementation of all processes.
This position is suitable for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer who is capable of interacting both at the project management level as well as technical level, with on-premise infrastructure security and operational expertise in addition to strong AWS security related skills and expertise.
Position Summary:
- Become an integral part of the global Cyber Security team focusing on Security, Identity protection and process automation
- Contribute to the overall Cloud Security architectural and operational strategies
- Provide expertise on flexible and dynamic Cloud security architecture implementation on AWS
- Assist the Security team in operations and Incident response and mitigation
- Assist the project and operational teams to improve secure cloud computing
Candidate requirements:
- University degree in a technical subject such as IT Security or Telecommunications or Computer Sciences
- Ability to demonstrate experience working on Cloud computing for global organisations (AWS strongly preferred)
- Solid knowledge of cyber security risks, hybrid architectures and authentication
- Knowledge of secure cloud infrastructure with Encryption, Firewalls, PKI, VPN, SIEM, SSO, ADFS, LDAP
- Knowledge of cloud security operations, automation and monitoring
- Security and Cloud certification an advantage
- Highly responsive, energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to take ownership of a task and deliver to completion
- Excellent judgment, attention to details
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Has both a strategic and operational mindset, and can function effectively in both domains
- Demonstrated team player, with an open non-political style and a high level of personal integrity
