Security Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents in real time
• Identifying, investigating, and responding to security breaches and vulnerabilities
• Conducting regular security assessments, audits, and risk assessments
• Implementing and maintaining security tools, technologies, and processes
• Developing and updating security documentation, including incident response plans and protocols
• Collaborating with IT and network teams to ensure robust network and system security
• Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Staying up to date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices
• Providing support for security compliance audits and ensuring adherence to industry standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a security analyst or related cybersecurity role
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
• Familiarity with threat hunting, malware analysis, and incident response
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and network security principles
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and management tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus
