We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a strategic initiative focused on building a modern Supply Chain Intelligence platform and enterprise-grade data ecosystem supporting advanced AI transformation programs.

You’ll work across the full data lifecycle – from ingestion and transformation to governance and optimization – helping create reliable, secure, and high-performance data platforms used by both business and AI systems. This role requires a strong engineering mindset, hands-on experience with modern data architectures, and the ability to collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines from ERP systems

• Integrate external data sources and market intelligence

• Build unified data models and taxonomies 

• Develop pipelines for unstructured data (PDFs, metadata) for RAG systems 

• Manage and optimize vector databases

• Implement data governance, lineage, and security (RBAC) 

• Ensure data quality validation

• Optimize pipelines for secure environments

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.

• Experience building and maintaining modern Data Lakehouse architectures.

• Practical knowledge of orchestration and streaming tools such as Airflow and Kafka.

• Experience working with relational and vector databases.

• Hands-on experience building data pipelines supporting ML and GenAI workloads.

• Experience processing and integrating unstructured data sources (e.g. PDFs, metadata) for AI/RAG systems.

• Understanding of data governance, lineage, security, and RBAC concepts.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices in data environments.

• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

• You are located in Poland or other EU country

Nice to have:

• Experience working in supply chain, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.

• Experience designing platforms supporting predictive analytics and AI transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with enterprise taxonomy and master data management concepts.

• Consulting background or experience working in complex stakeholder environments.
