This newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with engineering the software which powers e-Commerce. The Commerce DevOps Hub location is in Kraków, Poland.

    As the Solution Engineer, you will focus on delivering innovative and effective cloud-based marketing solutions, leveraging Marketing Cloud platforms (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc.) to drive customer engagement and enhance marketing performance in the Marketing Automation B2B. Collaborating closely with Product Owner(s), Product Architect(s) and other DevOps teams you will need to understand the business needs, helping Product Architect(s) to convert those needs into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall engineering standards and roadmaps.  

    You will be practicing excellence in engineering to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle in our Commerce IT landscape. This role involves hands-on development work. 

    You serve as a key contributor in delivering high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle in our Commerce landscape. The role reports directly to the Solution Engineering Lead. 

     

    Your responsibilities would include:

     

    Technical Activities: 

    • collaborate with marketing, IT, and business teams to design and implement end-to-end marketing solutions utilizing cloud technologies
    • implement, configure, and optimize marketing cloud platforms
    • customize and extend cloud-based platforms using scripting languages (SQL, AMPscript, JavaScript, etc.) to meet specific business requirements
    • design and develop automated workflows, personalized campaigns, and data integration solutions for multi-channel marketing efforts (email, social, SMS, etc.)
    • analyze and troubleshoot issues related to system integration, automation, and data flow to ensure seamless operation of marketing campaigns
    • perform system testing, quality assurance, and debugging to ensure the reliability and functionality of marketing solutions
    • offer guidance and best practices on how to leverage marketing cloud features, ensuring efficiency and optimal performance
    • work closely with lead to understand the business objectives and to drive customer engagement and ROI
    • stay current with trends, features, and updates in the marketing cloud ecosystem to propose innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge
    • provide technical training and support to internal teams and clients as needed

    Knowledge Transfer 

    • document configuration processes, guidelines, and best practices for future reference
    • support with proper knowledge transfer to service delivery and OpCo teams

    Collaboration 

    • contribute to the establishment and refinement of the appropriate deployment process. Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and specifications for product configurations
    • provide support to other Commerce teams by addressing technical queries, highlighting risks, and proposing improvements across different phases of the development cycle
    • coordinate with development teams to maintain the highest quality standards for the product, ensure that all Heineken standards are applied
    • collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Product Architects, and DevOps teams, to ensure seamless delivery and support of solutions
    • stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in key technologies in our landscape
    • work on continuous improvement of IT and business processes and their implementation in systems

     

    You are a good match if you have:

     

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Marketing, Business, or related field
    • proven experience (5+ years) in marketing technology, specifically working with marketing cloud platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc.)
    • strong technical skills, including experience with coding and scripting languages (AMPscript, SQL, JavaScript, etc.)
    • in-depth understanding of digital marketing strategies, campaign automation, data integration, and customer journey mapping
    • experience with CRM systems, data modelling, and integration with external systems (e.g., APIs, ETL processes)
    • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues
    • ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
    • strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
    • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset
    • certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms
    • experience with cloud-based solutions architecture and integration
    • familiarity with agile development processes
    • knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for data handling.

    • CDP Platforms: Salesforce Data Cloud/Customer Insights/SAP CDP

    • any other marketing automation tool like Adobe, Eloqua.
