Job description
We are looking for a Junior Software Integrator with C# programming knowledge to join one of our teams collaborating with one of the biggest company in the flow measurement industry.
Our client is a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering. We provide process solutions for flow, level, pressure, analytics, temperature, recording and digital communications, optimizing processes in terms of economic efficiency, safety and environmental impact.
Requirements
- Basic concepts of coding in a modern objective programming language such as C#, or at least JS
- Knowledge of XML (good to have xsd, xslt knowledge)
- Knowledge of SQL in terms of testing/debugging
- Some knowledge of manual testing
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Being team oriented, communicative, focused on the quality
- High flexibility concerning working on different tasks
- Readiness to take responsibility for designing and implementing software components
- Readiness to travel to the client for one week up to 1-2 times per year
Preferences
- Basic concepts of coding in Python
- Dev-ops skills, like managing CI tool (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab)
- Experience in writing automation tests
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS in terms of testing/debugging
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of the integration of software components resulting in the creation of the respective software builds
- Participation in the process of creating a configuration for the devices
- Creation and maintenance of the component configuration together with the firmware team
- Participation in the creation of integration test cases and distribution of test results associated with the release
- Analysis of integration issues including low-level debugging
- Supporting the development team in using the relevant tools and provide guidelines, e.g. for quality aspects
