Senior Test Automation Engineer

Let’s check a great opportunity to join global IT provider in Gdansk. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer you’ll work within a multi-skilled agile team, leading the development and execution of functional automated, manual, and non-functional tests to help the team deliver working application software that meets user needs. You’ll be reporting to Lead Test Engineer and Project Manager.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in manual and automated testing across all layers of an application
- Experience using Test Automation open source technologies (e.g. Selenium, Junit, TestNG, XPath, CSS Selectors, Cucumber, Protractor) and configuring tools for testing such as Jenkins and/or TeamCity
- Experience in executing and maintaining tests and frameworks within fast-moving Agile delivery
- Practical knowledge of at least one OOP programming languages (e.g. Java or C#)
- Experience working in Continuous Integration environment
- Experience leading and coaching test activities within a team
- Experience in designing tests from documented requirements and the ability to identify and manage undocumented requirements through testing
- Experience working as the tester in an Agile team
- Experience mentoring junior team members
Desirable:
- Experience devising efficient automation strategies for functional and non-functional testing
- Experience of testing in two or more specialist areas and considered an expert in at least one area (e.g. test automation, performance testing, security testing etc.)
- Experience of using cross-browser/device execution services such as SauceLabs, BrowserStack and Selenium-Grid
- Setting-up and maintaining test infrastructure, advising on specific test approaches
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate issues to technical and non-technical people
