Oracle SQL Performance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle SQL Performance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in optimizing and tuning SQL queries, ensuring the efficient performance of our Oracle databases. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and optimize SQL queries to improve performance.

- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.

- Implement indexing strategies to enhance query performance.

- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database schemas.

- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle databases.

- Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools and scripts.

- Provide recommendations for database design and architecture improvements.

- Stay updated with the latest Oracle database features and best practices.

Technology stack

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Oracle SQL Performance Tuner or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture and SQL query optimization.

- Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL tuning techniques.

- Experience with Oracle performance monitoring tools (e.g., AWR, ADDM, OEM)
