    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a department of 50 Scala developers.
    • Oversee the hiring process, ensuring the selection of highly qualified candidates.
    • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
    • Provide continuous support, feedback, and career guidance to team members, addressing their individual development needs.
    • Manage performance reviews, career ladders, and salary evaluations, recommending adjustments based on performance.
    • Set individual goals for developers and team leads, tracking their progress.
    • Plan and implement team composition changes to meet development needs.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a software engineering management role, preferably in backend development.
    • Strong technical background in backend technologies and development practices.
    • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
    • Ability to handle conflict resolution and performance management effectively.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
