How you will get the job done

• identifying Key Business Requirements in the reporting area and build custom charts accordingly
• understanding and analyzing the Key Business Requirements in detail with gaps and feedback
• designing, creating and deploying identified key requirements as Power BI Reports and Dashboards
• creating data documentation about parameters, algorithms and models
• performing detailed analysis on deployed and tested PowerBI scripts
• developing automated testing solutions for PowerBI reports
• running DAX queries and functions
• making strategic and technical changes to improve BI systems
• building multi-dimensional data models
• defining and designing new systems

Skills and experience you will need

• English at minimum B2 level
• min. 3 years of experience in a similar position
• expert knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (including Power Pivot, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS)
• very good knowledge of Git and DevOps workflows
• experience in working in Agile mode (Scrum)
• ability to implement security, write DAX expressions, and create rich dashboards
• experience with data modeling, SQL querying, online analytical processing and DB engines like Oracle, MsSQL, PostgreSQL, DB2
• analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
• capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• experience in data preparation and data management
• good teamwork
• knowledge of the insurance business
