We are currently seeking a qualified Azure Support Engineer to join our team.
As an Azure Support Engineer, you'll assist in providing Level 1 support for our current Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. You'll collaborate closely with development teams and vendors to troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain our Azure environment.
Responsibilities
- Support end users via ServiceNow according to SLA
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in fixing production incidents, escalate to vendor when necessary, and effectively communicate with the vendor to address and clarify issues
- Work according to an on-call schedule to provide 24x7 support (7-10 days per month, passive on-call)
- Communicate and collaborate with L2 and development teams
- Assist in development with the client
- Enhance the existing Ops handbook with new cases
- Process Azure extension requests
- Create and support vendor tickets (Microsoft support requests) and relevant Jira tickets
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes
- Skills in programming languages including Go, Golang Functions, and TypeScript
- Understanding of incident management and IT support ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow
- Qualifications in technology support and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with collaborating with development teams and vendors
- Flexibility to work on-call hours as part of a team providing 24x7 support
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Understanding of additional cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
- General knowledge of networking concepts for effective troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Technology Infrastructure Library standards
