Senior Integration Developer (Azure API Management)

Location: Poznań/ Hybrid (a few days in the office per week, the rest remote)

Summary: The Senior Integration Developer for Azure API Management plays a critical role in implementing and enhancing a secure and scalable API platform that aligns with organizational governance policies.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and manage RESTful APIs and API proxies using Azure API Management.
2. Apply API security and standards including OAuth2 and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
3. Support the API lifecycle from onboarding to decommissioning.
4. Configure Azure API Management elements like gateways and backends.
5. Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor.
6. Manage platform health and troubleshoot issues.
7. Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning as code.
8. Develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
9. Write automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash.
10. Implement API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
11. Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. 3+ years of experience with Azure API Management.
3. Proficiency in REST, OpenAPI, OAuth2.
4. Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD workflows.
5. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash.
6. Hands-on experience with Terraform.
7. Understanding of Azure services and cloud-native practices.

Nice to Have:

1. Familiarity with C#/.NET or Java/Spring Boot for development.
2. Experience using integration tools like Informatica or Kafka.
3. Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate).
4. Exposure to Docker and AKS deployments.
